We are driven by the belief that when we strive to empower women, we also positively impact their families and communities. We uphold the idea that financial independence underpins women’s freedom and ability to thrive in a world that has traditionally given them fewer opportunities. For the women we serve in Michigan, the risks are especially high as many are among the most economically vulnerable. Our clients are facing unforeseen challenges as a result of this rapidly evolving crisis and they need us more than ever before. As the only global employment resource for women, our ability to meet the needs of our clients in the coming months is essential to their families, our local community and the global economy. STATUS OF OPERATIONS As of March 12, 2020, Dress for Success Michigan temporarily suspended all suiting appointments, on-site programming, and clothing donations. In compliance with the Michigan Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order (EO 2020-21) and with concern for the safety of our staff, clients, and community, our office will remain closed until further notice. We regret that we are unable to accept any donations of physical goods at this time (including clothing, accessories, shoes, and other items).
